Our Team
With extensive experience in running and advising businesses, there is one thing we at Red Emu Advisory know for sure — the way you engage your people is the key to delivering superior business performance. Selecting, developing and challenging your people and then providing healthy leadership is the key to your own success.
We have a fundamental belief that all employees arrive at work every day wanting to do a good job. When that is not happening, an organisation needs to ask ‘have we created the right climate and do we have the right people, in the right jobs, doing the right things?’
Are leaders aligned and communicating the same clear message?
Are they consistent in how they guide and direct their teams?
Is the organisation structure fit-for-purpose and aligned with strategic goals?
Or has the structure evolved around its people?
We help you create the environment that enables your people to do their best work.

Although Jodie has many years of experience working with Leaders throughout Australia and Asia, and a career built on strong foundations of organisation psychology, it is her ability to connect with people and understand what makes them tick that our clients love.
Whether its working with individual leaders to help them be the best they can be, or with teams to help them remove the invisible barriers to performance that sometimes build over time, Jodie brings her authentic self to our work and that is reflected in the results our clients achieve with her support.
Jodie has a deep love of animals and the environment and is supported at home by her kelpie, Chief, who is her late night companion as she turns around work for our clients.

Li recently completed her corporate career after 17 years with Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers (WesCEF) in a range of roles including Head of HR, Head of Manufacturing and Head of HSE. WesCEF manufactures mining chemicals and fertilisers, as well as operating the Kleenheat gas business. During her career at WesCEF, Li was a Director of WesCEF, CSBP and QNP.
Li is passionate about life-long learning and working with organisations and its leaders to develop their leadership mindset and capability. She believes at the heart of any high performing organisation are high performing leaders who galvanise the collective effort of all employees.
Prior to joining WesCEF, Li held varied roles with Downer Engineering Pty Ltd, including National Safety, Training and Quality Systems Manager, Site Construction Manager, Commissioning Engineer and State Safety and QA Manager. From 1985-1996 Li was a Naval Officer (Weapons Electrical Engineer) with the Royal Australian Navy in a range of ship or land-based activities including ship construction, maintenance and personnel technical and operational training.
A personal insight into Li and her philosophy: ‘I enjoy challenge, both professional and in life more generally and believe that we have to go outside of our comfort zone to grow. As the first female engineer in the Royal Australian Navy back in the 1980’s and as a construction engineer for 10 years before joining CSBP/WesCEF – I’ve had plenty of practice at challenging myself about what’s possible. I am most proud of helping people to define their version of success and then go after it as well as fostering inclusive cultures that embrace learning and value kindness.’
